Call for Abstracts
Abstract Submission, Review and Selection Process
This year’s UH Research & Innovation Day is focused on Brain Health. We invite all students, postdocs, residents, and fellow to submit an abstract for poster presentation in any area of brain health research. The deadline for abstract submission is midnight Friday, September 11, 2020.
All submitted abstracts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by a panel of senior investigators. The top 2 scored abstracts will be asked to present at the UH Research & Innovation Day on Thursday, October 29, 2020. Up to 10 abstracts will be selected for virtual PowerPoint presentations which will be displayed during the poster session. All 12 awardees will be notified by Wednesday, October 7 and will receive a monetary award.
All accepted abstracts will be compiled into a PDF file for attendees to access.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Report original research in English.
No more than 2 abstracts per author or research team.
Abstract length is limited to 500 words.
Do not include tables or graphs in any of the form fields.
Incomplete abstracts past the deadline will not be considered.
The UHR&E organizing committee reserves the right to modify the abstract for uniformity.
If you wish to withdraw your abstract, please notify UHR&E no later than Friday, October 9, 2020.
